Open Question: why does my order status say its still in Ca?

i oreded two things from American apparel and it still says its in CA and it says it will be here by the 9th. does this still mean it wil be there by the 9th? this is what it says CERRITOS, CA, US 01/03/2009 5:59 A.M.
